Honestly I’m not sure why they haven’t issued inland tropical storm warnings for Atlanta. Did they do away with that type of warning?
I hope so.

I suppose for the same reason Lake Effect Snow headlines are issued well inland from the lake. The weather event is associated with a system of tropical origins and characteristics.

TWC believes that it is not 90mph anymore. Alittle weakening (I mean alittle) should happen. It will be interesting to see just how strong this storm can get too if can make predicated low cat. 2 or get to stronger cat 2...every ounce of strength it gets before landfall is a little more upmh further inland.
LoL most Atlanta don’t even know a storm is coming. Hardly any news coverage of it.TWC really lowered wind gust for Atlanta. It was 60 to 75 mph. Now, it is 40 to 60mph.
Right!!!! I been blasting it on my social media!!!LoL most Atlanta don’t even know a storm is coming. Hardly any news coverage of it.

60 to 75 would be similar to Opal and that was a cat 3.This is much more realistic. As others have indicated and is usually the case, some of these 10m wind profile maps are always on the high side.
