Tropical Hurricane Dorian

I have mostly stayed out of this thread because I don't really have anything new to add. But my gut tells me this will miss the US. Also, I don't trust the Icon with tropical systems.
The little last second nip of Cape Hatteras got me. But I still don't trust the long range ICON for tropical systems!

Just to get an idea of how things are looking in a certain area in Canada. Dreary, windy day, typical of a nor'easter, except they have a hurricane that's probably going to make landfall there before making a full transition to extratropical.

Not officially updated "yet" I think but best track has him as extratropical.

Getting closer to goodbye and good riddance but unfortunately its going to be one to two more days of significant effects being felt.
 
...DORIAN MAKES LANDFALL OVER NOVA SCOTIA...

Satellite and surface observations indicate that the center of
Dorian has made landfall at 615 PM AST (2215 UTC) near Sambro Creek
in Nova Scotia, Canada, or about 15 miles (25 km) south of Halifax.
The estimated maximum sustained winds at landfall were 100 mph (155
km/h), and the estimated central pressure was 958 mb (28.29 inches).

It amazes me how Dorian can maintain such intensity despite being so far north. Maybe it will run into a glacier soon and lose some steam.
