@NoSnowATL Got a good view to your East? Looks like a supercell blowing up.
Per WSB-TV, there is tree damage being reported in the far northern part of Newnan.
I’m surprised at the longevity of these storm in the south metro. This could be turning very serious if they hold on further north into Atlanta.

Hard to see anything coming with the low cloud level.

Thank goodness for the poor lapse rates. There's no lightning to be found with these cells.
Otherwise, got a pretty good (rare) combination of high low level directional shear and moderate instability (MUCAPE greater than 1000 J/KG).
WSB-TV states Howard Hughes Road here in Newnan is now closed because of downed trees.
@NoSnowATL It went Tornado Warned.
I would keep an eye on this little cell developing wast of Atlanta.

With the way it's moving it might head up this way so it definitely is something I'll watch.

Just north, I’m watching it and hoping I can see something because it’s calm here. No rain no wind.
Yeah, the wall cloud that moved through here was hard to see between the low clouds and being wrapped in rain.
We've had low clouds all day (no sun).
My Radarscope was lagging. Actually looks pretty dynamic in GA right now.
I didn’t think we would see so many tornado warnings today. I figured maybe 2 or 3, but this has turned out to be a lot more concerning.
The one near Hampton is concerning too......
