Misc Historic solar cycle minimum coming

I’ve been saying this, myself, since the early 2010s. In my mind, I was giving it til the late 2010s to finally see cooling. I’ve actually posted this on a number of occasions due to the idea of lag. However, at some point, there comes a time to give up, especially with global temps STILL warming. Unlike JB, I’m not too stubborn to give up, especially when a timeline I set is crossed.

It could be on a far larger time scale than we think.. or other factors involved that we know little about.

A good example was this recent study concluding that the Ice Age hundreds of years ago is still actively cooling deeper waters in the Pacific Ocean.

“Cold waters that sank in polar regions hundreds of years ago during the Little Ice Age are still impacting deep Pacific Ocean temperature trends. While the deep Pacific temperature trends are small, they represent a large amount of energy in the Earth system.”

That is very interesting.... Didn't realize that the effects of the Little Ice Age were still ongoing.
