Interestingly my point and click forecast is now up to nearly 4ā while the text forecast says snow accumulating to 1-3 inches.

This always had the greatest potential to underperform of any system I have ever seen. Trending to a dusting in CLT and Upstate SC.
Never trust an ULL. Most people in here will get something at least but this was always going to be primarily a coastal storm. With high ratios 3-5 in spots upstate is absolutely doable.
ahhh the day before the storm panic, itās been a while!
Youāve gotta move to Florence or somewhere in eastern NC man. The midlands are an absolute snow hole over and over.

What a rug pull for places like Augusta (big one here), potentially Columbia and the triangleā¦ Canāt get anything to go right. At this point, we need good trends until go timeā¦ but not looking likely. AGS was staring down their best snow since 2010 with the threat of 3+ inchesā¦ now a dusting is looking possible

Irrational panic in the banter thread? Color be shocked. Just relaxā¦these things go back and forth. It wasnāt 4-5 days ago, you all were convinced this wasnāt happening at all. All models showing a steep cutoff just south and west by about 20 miles.. around here, that line shifts north 100/100 timesā¦ a possible inch is a long way from where we were past couple days of 2-4 inches

Just a reminder, letās say we only see 2 inches of snow here around the RDU area, Iāve been around here long enough to know that amount of snow with this cold is absolutely great for sledding, snowboarding etc. Now, I think we get more than 2 inches but still, we are in prime time skiing snow here.

this is a wild guess hence why Iām putting it in banter. Do we really know of Ai modeling weaknesses yet? For instance I know it supposedly uses past data to forecast future events. Could anomalous events be harder for it to forecast as it likes to smooth to the mean.

Iām hoping to get 2-3 and I will be happy. I feel like we can at least squeeze out .2 or so qpf in my neck of the woods but who knows with how it looks now.

This thing is starting to show itself for 77/Foothills crew in NCā¦.. notice the dryslot forming on the mods, thatās bc the coastal is sucking the life out of ULL. Screw Raleigh, our only choice is to kill the coastal and have the ULL Dominant

yeah our neck of the woods are defintley trending down with some of the globals. But we haven't lost the rgem yet and I feel like that is one of the better models within 24-48 hours
Kylo - how do you get the map with counties and cities? Iām too stupid to figure it out
