Misc General Banter Thread

I still feel like we will be 2-4 inches for most everyone in NC. Dry air, dry slots it just always seems to end up that way. Truthfully, 3-4 inches and I’m good. Most I will have had in 6-7 years I believe.

I’m cheap and don’t have a subscription so I haven’t really been able to dive into to what is making the CAM’s that much different. Is it the location of the meso low? Tilt? I feel pretty good about the fact the Euro is pretty hi res as a standalone. But not so good that I’m ready to dance in the streets. But If I had to pick a horse, it’s the one I’ve got.

What are the CAM’s showing. I’ve been working day and missed them? Are we talking getting blanked or what?

They’re way more positive tilt and further north with the 5h low. I assume theyll correct to globals and ai soon, but who knows
 
For the love of all the things. Please! Please vomit snow on the Carolinas! No holes! No slots!

It was the one real joy i was finding with this storm. That perhaps…. finally! All of these folks would stop whining!

These models better turn around and/or the storm surprise the hell out of everyone with something really good.

lol. Has it always been this miserable? I think it has. I don’t know why we do this to ourselves.

This is the parking lots still …. Highs in low 20s lows around 5…. 8-12” in my point forecast to snow on top of this….. Round 3 next week, what is this life

I feel ya on that but it's moved every model run just about. I don't think it's done yet either
 
Should we be rooting for the NW trend to start tonight or should we be rooting for GSP to CAE to MYR to get a foot...🤔

If the market opens deep red tomorrow with me being short I will happily give away all of RDU's snow this weekend...even Bricks....

Agreed they start out ok but stay "flat" and positive longer than the euro for sure. For once we aren't in a let down bullseye at this stage or have gotten Nam'd yet. Watch them all be right and we squeak out 3 inches and all around us gets 10

I want us all to get a nice event. I feel good about where I’m at but I’ve been around long enough to know that it can change on a dime and be left with zero. That’s still a possibility to me.

Well the euro has been Uber consistent with the footprint..the totals have adjusted...in a good way.
Right now anyone just East and SE of Oconee and Pickens get nuked with the 850 frontogen

It all hinges on this person. If they reschedule, the hole/slot is inevitable. Decisions have consequences. May ya make the best one! No pressure!
