Misc General Banter Thread

How accurate are the snow totals usually on the euro? If it shows like 8” do you normally get close the or do you normally have to take a few inches off to be more accurate? Just curious

Trends don’t look great, will just have to watch the radar this weekend and hope for the best

I got a funny feeling about this one. I think we will ring out some backside moisture and look for 15:1 type ratios. Just a hunch

Going to chase this thing and put myself and son in the path of this Friday night. What's my best bet to get there safely and also be able to get out Sunday? Coming from Atlanta. Debating Charlotte, NC? Asheville, NC. Something interstate adjacent for ease of getting home. Shoot some options guys, the wife said give her some choices and we could go lol..

If I were to do this hypothetically personally, I'd probably stay at a hotel just off the interstate that has a nearby park.

Now, I know nothing about Charlotte unfortunately (where I'd probably go). But the mountains with the cold we have is probably too much of a risk.

Edit: the upstate could also work.

West? Does AGS get in on this?

It for the most part has consistently shown 2-3" I'm thinking off the maps I've seen for days outside of the short timeframe where it dried up...I'll take it if that's what pans out, but I would not mean seeing the cold, fluffy type snow I saw with the Christmas snow in La Fayette a little over 15 years ago that wound up accumulating up to 4-5 inches.

I figure that's probably the peak, but I still don't even have the confidence that the 2-3" occurs lol.
