He briefly migrated to here, but if he’s still around weather forums, he went back to the old place that many of us were at until the board went offline for a while (this is a TW/AMWX combo ha).

In other news, yeah the 18z Euro is the one. Don’t think we see any better from it, especially those of us to the western part of the hopeful area.

At that first conference, I took Amtrak from Charlotte to Durham. I got off the train in Durham and he drove the two of us to Baltimore. He’s a good dude despite all the ---- I gave him.

I can remember Dave being treated damn near like a celebrity and Kocin showing up. I wonder if Marcus ever found Bigfoot.

I hope it happens for you! It’s totally what we all chase, why we hang in there, when storm after storm doesn’t pan out. I’m still starry-eyed and with the Euro and hoping somehow we can all pull off a huge win. Either way though, it really looks like someone will!

Lol.. at the first meeting in 2004 we all got in my car and went to Bojangles for chicken tenders. You would know who was a part of the group with information.
 
It's pretty wild to think we're looking at back to back years with potentially 6"+ snows from coastal storms. I'd be surprised if we get that much this weekend but you never know.

I really do feel for y'all in the deep south that rarely get to see it. Growing up in the 90s I used to wonder if we'd ever see real snow again. I think we have two pitiful falls in that decade. Since 2000 we've had snow more years than we haven't which is nice.
