Misc General Banter Thread

After cliff diving earlier I don’t know if we will have a clear solution until all the players are on the field. Like more experienced posters have said, lots of energy in play. That’s not to say the can’t trend bad or better it’s just a collect situation, like most of our storms are.

You already cliff dived. There’s no coming back. We will see ya in a week!

ngl I hope this isn't the last winter storm because I want the deep deep south to score one more storm but it looks like that's not happening so I'm just getting ready for severe weather season down here... I'm done

What does 6 inches of sleet look like? I’ve never seen serious sleet accumulation, I’ve only ever seen like some scattered on the deck, trying to picture it?
I would imagine it would still turn the ground into a winter wonderland of sorts and look like snow accumulation from afar, except it wouldn't stick to trees and would roll off curved surfaces. What a sight it would be, and a heck of a lot better than 1-2 inches of ice accretion or a cold rain.

Legit question, does anyone in NC/Upstate SC seriously think we're going to end up losing the storm all together? I get being pessimistic but if anyone thinks that this is gonna trend NW to the point where everyone gets plain rain, idk what to tell you,

A biblical all snow two footer is off the table, but we're still looking at a pretty significant storm here.

Dsaur, this sleet storm is for you. I can learn to like sleet since I have no snow for it to rob me of. I'll use it to catch my ZR and not waste a drop!

I'm old too. Dang the torpedoes, full steam ahead!

Across all models and runs the one constant is a warm tongue up through South Central Alabama . Refuses to budge. The question is do I chase and where?
