The 16th would be less than 10 days but who knows, tomorrow it could show dry and 75. I would love to see some snow but the rug has been pulled too many times. (Especially the last 4 years). It’s hard not get somewhat positive though as what do you have to lose?
 
Here comes the nightly BS I see. It’s hilarious to me overnight runs are always terrible. I swear it used to be 12Z was always terrible and 18Z was always the golden weenie hour

Hold the phone. The AI SNOWMASTER9k (AISM9K) model is running now. It did good with the blizzard in the Swiss Alps back in early December. Promising model

It's not worth the time watching it run. we pretty much knew those great runs, A couple of days ago or yesterday, whenever it was. Me forget? It was TRASH, always TRASH until it proves me wrong... Just think the polar opposite of whatever it shows. whether it's 10 days. 15 days or 5 days. lol That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
 
Hey, If the United States, did acquire? Greenland and the US Navy Set up Aircraft carriers and block the Russian and Chinese ships. Will that block work as a -NAO also? Asking for a friend! @jimmythegreek

That's exactly what he looks kike without the tummy tucker he wears. Just compare his golf cloths to his suits. Lmao
 
Random morning thoughts:

1. So nice to wake up to pings less than 10 days out. 4 pages of overnight/18z runs. Getting better!
2. Looks like the storm on the 15th could be legit, but more of a late bloomer MA/NE threat. Raleigh I bet is in the game though.
3. Long range GFS op is getting so much analysis. Ha
4. Ensemble snow means still look like ca ca for MBY, but hoping the closer we get to 15-19 timeframe the better they'll get.
5. @Mitch West should be considered part of the overnight crew if he's up at 3 am looking at models.
6. I'm thankful for all the good analysis and PBP skilled posters in here provide, overnight or not.

Yeah I don’t know how Mitch wakes up at 3am every morning. I like to sleep until at least 7.

Haha I go to bed at 8-830 pm & wake up at 3:30 am. I'm that early am to evening crew haha

oh I am a huge sports fan. But it's tough to stay up to watch a team I don't give a rip about. Now tonight, I'll likely stay up & watch the Indiana Oregon game.

That Ole Miss and Miami game last night was fantastic though. I was going to go to bed but stayed up because of how entertaining it was
 
Just when I was going to come in here and complain about the runs being close and not producing for either wave...
 
Idk if I can take any of these model runs seriously until Brad P does a video reminding me about pattern recognition and how you can’t look at deterministic runs at this range. When that happens, I’ll know it’s real.
 
Back-to-back back snow events on the gfs would be something else. Of course the 12z Canadian flips us off and laughs in our face.
 
The mean pattern looked too good in the long range…. Knew some stuff would pop up. You are at least going to have some threats with the 5h look that’s been advertised
