The NAM (especially the 3k) did a much better job than the EURO (or any other model) on our last 2 systems. We should all wait to see what it says inside 60 hours. The Euro didn't have anything inside 48 hours. So, sorry I don't take it as gospel.

The NAM has had plenty of it's own coups... but it is still unreliable at hour 84.

18Z GFS has more interwave interaction at hour 60 compared to the previous run.

FWIW the energy in SE Canada took a step in the right direction. Much more positively tilted trough.

This run of the GFS looks much different through hour 96. Just goes to show how quickly these things can change and shift.

Yesterday the PV was in Iowa, now it's over the GL. That's why everything is warmer.

At least there's more moisture. Can't get a storm without it no matter how cold it is. I'll take it.

The GFS is trying. The trend over the last 3 runs is certainly improvement at 500. If we could just get that boomerang of energy in New England to be further west towards Michigan and Illinois and we are golden

The NAM really isn’t that bad at HR 84 than people make it out to be. Is it great? No. But people make it seem like it’s never right which isn’t true!

18z GFS is fine if you want rain for the majority. Temperatures a major issue it looks. Blah
