I look outside and it’s puking snow again, DGZ must be low to a point where the radar is not finding it, kinda like drizzle that don’t show up
Could it be the deform band that was modeled?

This one is just about finished here. Late pivot isn’t going to help the upstate. That makes about 12 hours of moderate/heavy snow I’ve seen in the month of February. I ain’t mad. Good luck to everybody east of me. It’s been fun

While it looks bleak on the radar, right now, I don't know if I would call this over quite yet. Especially if you're east of I-77. There is still moisture to the south of us. If that low bombs, it could easily dump here again. We really just have to wait and see.
Nah, this happens a lot with departing snow bands where sometimes it’ll snow a bit after it’s passed on radar due to the DGZ lowering at the end of the storm
Can someone explain the science behind why it didn’t snow much at all in upstate sc? It was cold enough, colder than when we got that surprise snow a few weeks back. What is it that keeps us from getting a good one? What would the perfect setup have to be?
Chris Justice hasn’t done to well as chief metrologist. I’m not sure anyone saw 1-2 inches in upstate sc. maybe someone up in Spartanburg. Anyone get any accumulations in upstate sc?

I definitely think I made the right decision by coming to Fayetteville instead of staying in Charlotte, all they saw there was about a dusting, I already have a heavy dusting (0.3) here and counting w/ several hours to go.
