Eastern TN gettin absolutely nuked out of nowhere. That looks like inch per hour rates. No models had more than .01-.03 of liquid there.

Looks like the big area faded away near Johnson City. Will hit mountains good but unless builds back going to be very light in piedmont, nc

The 06z Euro finally got a clue and started showing the precip over Oconee/Pickens... except it didn't happen and there is no measurable precip. Amazing. (This is through 6am)

Euro total precip... busting badly here over Pickens county so i'm not sure i'd count on the .03-.05 of Central NC... but who knows, you guys probably get yours.

It does look like a convective cell has started to fire along the NC/SC border at hwy 178 and moving due south. Maybe it'll keep building and head my way.

We have light snow again this morning in Madison at 18F. I thought it was blowing off the house, but it's not. The surprises with this storm continue!
