Its gross and yellow. BBQ shouldn't be yellow.Agreed. I think the eastern and lexington sides should stop arguing up here, and instead go after those heathens down south using mustard. For the good of everything right in the world.

I'm right on the border. If the BBQ debates ever spill over into armed conflict, I'm in big trouble.I'm in the "light tomato" area but we have always used vinegar and pepper .... dang now I want a chopped plate so bad!!
Just a hunch but I'd lean eastern if that occurredI'm right on the border. If the BBQ debates ever spill over into armed conflict, I'm in big trouble.
I love the sliced turkey (with their bbq sauces), macaroni and cheese, and baked beans from Sonny’s! I make sure to go almost every time I’m in the Charlotte area since they don’t have them around here!!Count me in as another that really liked Sonnys.
It's been a while. Maybe I should go back if I run into it.
Surely there is somewhat of a neutral zone where lovers of both live in harmony. Lol. In all honesty I don't know one person that uses anything other then the vinegar and pepper.I'm right on the border. If the BBQ debates ever spill over into armed conflict, I'm in big trouble.
Damn yuppie! Probably had some tofu on it!Tropical Grille grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Heavy slappage View attachment 113391
Im a barbecue ho. I’ll eat any and all sauce as long as it’s not sweet. Being from north Georgia I’m used to a vinegar and tomato mixture but I do love some east Carolina vinegar. Mustard is good every now and then. Alabama white sauce on a smoked chicken is life changing too.I'm right on the border. If the BBQ debates ever spill over into armed conflict, I'm in big trouble.

Jersey all the wayJersey mikes or subway??
I tend to go by seasons. Chopped pork in the fall, ribs in the winter, and brisket in the summer. It's about time to fire up the Pit Barrel for some ribs.I agree.
I don't know if I really have a sauce preference with BBQ, but I do have food preferences, and I prefer ribs or brisket.
Honestly, I'm like you in that I've rarely eaten any BBQ that I didn't enjoy no matter style it was. There's even a local place around here that's more of a Texas style that I go to every now and again, but I'm careful not to brag about that one too much.Im a barbecue ho. Nestea was the OGHere's a question for the bottled tea drinkers. Which is best
Gold peak
Pure leaf
Lipton
Arizona
For me it's gold peak then pure leaf and I would rather drink anything else above lipton or Arizona
Do they even make that in bottles anymore?Nestea was the OG
The best to me is Community but I’ve only found it near the gulf. Milos is pretty goof. I do like Gold LeafHere's a question for the bottled tea drinkers. Which is best

Hush puppies are an art form! No onionsTried Moores bbq yetserday . Not bad . Never ever tried any barbecue that wasn’t eastern though. I’m terrified after hearing my friends traumatizing , PTSD inducing experience at a restaurant in Greensboro . They said it was horrible , even the hush puppies were messed up. How do you mess up hush puppies ?
Its gross and yellow. BBQ shouldn't be yellow.
Lick, your friend sounds sketchy. Never heard of bad hush puppies at a BBQ joint. I don't trust him. ?Tried Moores bbq yetserday . Not bad . Never ever tried any barbecue that wasn’t eastern though. Greensboro bro . Smh. I believe it man those Piedmonters don’t make good food . Too much low energy weather . Low T cad there ruining any creative good food juices . Ffs they eat pig liver and consider that fine dining . Bet they smelled an east Carolina pig farm once they would change their mind .Lick, your friend sounds sketchy. LOL. I forgot they were still around..Why is Burger King not an option here?
Burger king is awesome. I like their burgers 2nd best behind Hardee's. Their fries could use some work and their chicken nuggest are better than most.LOL. I forgot they were still around..
Yeah, that had one in Greenville and there’s one 2 minutes from my place up here. That are as common as McDonald’s up here, I think they are based out of Wisconsin. If you aren’t burnt out on them, they might be worth a try. Burgers are average and I don’t like their fries or cheese curds, but probably worth a try if you’ve never beenAnyone here been to Culver’s?
I hadn't been there in awhile. Over the years, seems like the more Wendy's that showed up, the less BK's I saw around. Not sure if there's any direct correlation with that.Burger king is awesome. They just started popping up sporadically around here. The one I've been to (in Apex) always seems busy, and they have good service. That's a bit of a rarity right now unfortunately.Anyone here been to Culver’s?
