Not weather related, but a real good friend of mine gave me a nice truck today. Handed me the title. God was answering my prayers because I was fixing to buy another vehicle and he came over to our home and gave me the keys. What a day it has been. Drives great.

Cool beans man......Wonderful early Christmas gift.
We were in Gatlinburg for the annual Christmas parade tonight. Great memories with the family. Blake Shelton has a bar called Ol’ Red in Gatlinburg and they had 50 blood hounds walking up Main Street howling. Very cool

The 6z GFS is not backing down on a major winter storm for Georgia and the Carolinas this upcoming Wed-Friday. Looks to be a bad ice storm brewing.

Fixed it.
The latter more than the former. I don't think I was ever more relieved to see sleet in that February 2014 storm instead of the crippling ice we were forecast to get. Ice is very pleasing and beautiful to look at. If it wasn't for power outages and the dangers of tree damage I would enjoy seeing ice as I do snow. Personally I rather have all sleet if I can't get snow.
