Pattern December to Remember

The good thing is, the PV isn't consolidated and remaining parked over Russia. Plenty of cold on our side of the world, which means it won't take long to get here, should a favorable pattern develop. And it will eventually.

Soooo what’s next we merge that new diving trough around B.C to the western cutoff and get a new bout of SER ? 8D9A5BE3-4975-4259-B206-D525812C21B9.png

I’ve already largely written off most of the first half of Dec to the warmth. SER is expected to dominate then. No biggie. That still leaves 5/6 of met winter.

It's unfortunate because that's exactly the time of year when people want cold and snow the most. Snow and cold just isn't as fun in Jan or Feb as it is in Dec.

As long we keep some ridging over Scandinavia and the Barents Sea in the means, the PV will encounter some resistance.

That huge cutoff around Hawaii is a reason for the shitter as well it retrogrades over time and the associated height pumping in front of it backs up in time as well

Man that’s rough. Some pacific air making it into Canada so our wudges wouldn’t feel like much CB4474B0-90E5-43DD-BB99-865C3F9D2F08.png
