Happy to report I'm seeing some surprise flurries here in Mooresville, just off the Langtree exit
I wasn’t even thinking of this in my last post. With the Arctic plunge coming in Sunday, is there a chance a good portion of NC could have their 4th mainly minor snow of the first half of Dec? If so, 1989 would still be the only comparable of the last 50++ years in terms of cold and number of different minor wintry events in the first half of Dec.

I know we’ll have a -PNA, but the EPS is suggesting an -EPO and -NAO toward the end of the month.

Stop the count, Flurries off and on in Mooresville since 9AM Downtown back towards 152 East. Tiny trace on my vehichle hood.... nice winter guys we cant say we got shutout

Good news is that the pattern can't get worse than this, so only up from here.
Bad news...its going to take a lot of work/time to get out of this. Or...we can live in fantasy land and say all ensembles are bad day 8+.

Well we just had a front here and wow it's kind of chilly. I was a bit surprised
And this is nothing compared to Sunday which may stay below freezing for the first time this winter
Then Christmas week is some historic torch like we've never seen before!

Graupel off and on all morning long in Lewisville and Winston-Salem. Just saw a salt truck drive down Stratford brining the road

I was a county or so too far north this time. Just enough to make the roads damp.We are always too far south now, I guess. Things don’t work like they used to.
