33/25 -SN on the 0151z METAR from KHSE (Hatteras, OBX)
Saw another image of covered grass maybe 1.0” but unable to confirm location. Guessing Hyde co as well. A couple LSRs just came with 0.2 in Washington co and 0.5 in Fairfield (Hyde)

Daytime high of 19, NNW flow snow this morning, huge flakes fell for a while. Down to 10 already, probably going to beat that forecast 9 degree low.

It honestly didn’t do too bad with the snow accumulations for East Tennessee leading up to the event. Led the way with every other model outside of maybe the RGEM
Looks like it topped the grass blades, so I’m thinking 2-3”+?

Nice cold morning this morning. After tomorrow we go above avg lows and highs for the week esp this weekend(64/40). How long that continues into Christmas week will determine if December remains well below average for the month. If @GaWx can still help us wedge for Christmas would certainly help. Overnight runs of GFS and Euro went back to a torch for Christmas day. Which is still 10 days away so who knows.

Same here with the big old goose egg for the dewpoint
6z GFS brings CAD back for the 24th to 26 and overnight ensembles continue to build some serious cold air in Canada
