I think it was Jan 10/11, a widespread, colder storm was working in from GA and had the “ finger” of precip arrive way ahead of the storm and pummeled Augusta, looks similar, but more N obviously on the RPMHere's a couple of frames from the 00z RPM. Yep it arrived early and the TV Mets had to scramble early. Luckily it was a Sunday so not too many people on roads. It looks a little further south this run, hence it snows in the midlands this time but we're a long ways from figuring this out.Do you have the ULL look @H5? Did it do anything with that? Looks interesting at hr120 on TT

You are so right. We really need some of the people in here to take their place. Its so embarrassing that such a huge metro cant find better meteorologists.I must say, Atlanta's forte is NOT it's tv meteorologists and their forecasting ability. Seems they show the model that has least impacts with each event. This has caused issues more than once!
Yep no way I can stay up for the 6z NAM then. It won’t be finished till 345Data may be arriving late still, for the 06z runs and onward. Tonight's HRRR runs and NAM have already been 31-45 minutes late earlier.
Ty sir. Ya on freebie site it appeared to be slower and further SWIt looks a little further south this run, hence it snows in the midlands this time but we're a long ways from figuring this out.
