Well, this one really snuck up on folks. And if it ends up further north than thought it just shows you the models are pretty crappy with regards to winter storms here if they can't get it right until less than 24 hours out, and even that's a stretch.

So is the 28-29 storm really dead? Or a surprise??? I’ve certainly seen ice/Sleet creep into areas they thought it wouldn’t.. and seen more moisture when a model showed less... anybody’s guess i reckon
 
Looking at radar, don't see how this doesn't make it to atleast Birmingham
 
I'm in Newsome, VA, home of the jumbo peanut. Looks like I could see a little bit of wintry stuff.
