Does appear the edge of the precip shield in Mississippi is creeping a bit further north.

It's 36/21 here. Don't expect anything from this except a random couple of pingers mixing in with the rain in the morning, but in the right spots could have a few slick spots on bridges/overpasses.

Radar is looking healthier than I thought it wood and front is passing by. Interested to see how this evolves...the local did have that sense of uncertainty tonight lol.

What's funny is I'm at 37 under mostly clear skies. I know if will rise once clouds roll in but definitely lower than any model that I can remember. In the end it won't matter lol

Warmed up to 34 now that the clouds have moved in. Here's to hoping for a few token flakes in the morning

...LIGHT WINTRY MIX POSSIBLE THROUGH 9 AM...

A light mixture of rain, freezing rain, and ice pellets are
possible after midnight. This light wintry mix will remain
in the forecast through around 9 am.

There will be a large variability in surface temperatures across
north central Alabama overnight. Some places may briefly dip to
near 30 degrees, while others will remain above freezing the
entire time. Additionally, precipitation will not even reach the
ground at all locations, but some will receive light amounts.
As a result, there may be a few slick spots on elevated surfaces
in the morning. These conditions will not be widespread and an
upgrade to an advisory is not anticipated at this time. Light rain
should be the dominant precipitation type.

So busy watching models, haven't looked at radar. Looked on the accuweather se one and liked to fail out. Moisture is all the way up to the TN line almost. Guessing we got some virga but this will be interesting to see how for north it gets and if it can stay together, reach surface in 12 hrs
