More like incredibly bad messaging and completely irresponsible when over 200k have died from the virus. Thanks to the fact he had access to experimental drugs at a state of the art medical center he's currently recovered to some extent. How many people have that sort of access? He's still jacked up on the steroid too. Lets see how he does after that wears off. Telling people not to fear the virus? Just stupid. He's the worst possible person that could have been in office during a pandemic.

Take a second to really parse out what he is saying there, this is a horrible tone dead Trump centric tweet, shocking I know.....he is basically telling the country that Covid is no big deal, so while he will possibly leave the hospital today, there are hundreds that will die today from Covid in this nation.....

You know he wont, he could have already done it he could tweet out something like "I'm being discharged today. Many thanks to the doctors and staff for taking care of me. Folks, please take this virus seriously. Please wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands"

Instead Trump literally thinks Covid is a joke even more now since he beat it so "easily" ( he hasnt yet, and he had access to drugs and alevel of care not available to hardly anyone) and that if you die from it your just weak etc....mark my words at some point he will make some kind of tweet where he implies only weak people die from Covid, not tough people like him.....in the end Trump will treat beating Covid as a badge of honor ignoring that for literally hundreds of thousands of Americans it's been a death sentence.....he is too tone deaf to understand that.

The doctors in that presser were so full of sh*t they should prescribe themselves laxatives. They were hiding behind HIPAA when it was convenient but happy to reveal the good parts when it came to Trump's condition. They wouldn't reveal the lung scans and he is on serious steroids. We are not being told the truth. No doctory would normally ever say things like "he's back" or "he is a "phenomenal patient" either.

One family I know of had it and the effects were quite varied. It was pretty rough for 2 individuals, a 3rd one had very mild symptoms and the 4th never tested positive but lost their sense of smell for a day. The fourth person recently had a medical check up and they found she had antibodies in her blood from covid so she likely had it with basically 0 symptoms. There are probably a lot of people who are exposed to it, catch it and have 0 symptoms or ones so minimal they chalk it up to allergies or something similar.

Is it that you truly believe his condition is far worse or is it that you want his condition to be far worse .... ask yourself that before talking conspiracy.

By most if you mean the majority... I would say for those under 45 yrs with no underlying health issues this would be true. For those over 45 yrs and for those with underlying health issues, I would say this is not true. By medical care I am referring to contact with a MD or medically trained person for medicines and recommended treatments.

we got an old saying in Arabic ... If the camel saw it’s hump it would fall and break its neck.... meaning if you could see your own hypocrisies you would be crushed by them but want to pass judgement everywhere else .

This is unreal.

He’s spreading the wrong message about covid, removing the mask and going inside. Assuming the worst is behind him, he got a treatment none of the 200k+ dead Americans would have received. If it is indeed a revolutionary treatment, it isn’t available to the ones who need it. The poorand elderly who are disproportionately affected by covid 19.

As the CDC released updated guidelines today acknowledging covid is airborne, and as we are headed into winter as cases explode globally, this is just the wrong message.

Covid deniers want this to be over, but they’re doing nothing to subvert this pandemic but challenging science and medicine. God help us. One day science will be respected again in this country.

What’s this have to do with coronavirus? That’s your opinion of the posters who disagree with you, but you’re offering nothing constructive to the thread here. Believe me, I have a lot to say about some of the counter posts on here, but I just keep my posts consecutive and I’m willing to engage in an intelligent conversation. What are you adding to the discussion?

My frustration.... I’m frustrated at the blatant hypocrisies of others and the rampant conspiracy on here . From the same people who cried about it when it was from those different from them. Perhaps I should have stayed quiet, but it’s really aggravating considering almost all of you on here are supposed to be my elders , the people I look up to. I’ll end it here though you are very right , a little off topic.

Another thing I read is that the cocktail Trump is on especially the Dex is going to keep him feeling much better than he actually is and he is reacting to how he feels now on the Dex etc....also several videos now of Trump right after removing the mask showing signs of trouble breathing...you can see him taking deep short breaths...

100 bucks says if you had seen that video prior to seeing the tweet saying he was taking short deep breaths you wouldn’t have even noticed it ,nor interpreted it the way you did.

Im not trying to be offensive, but which “science”? The science that claimed schools would lead to mass infections and kill kids?That colleges coming back into session would overwhelm hospitals? That football games would kill athletes? Which science are we talking about?

He’s still contagious and he walked into the White House without it on “lmao”...come on man. We all know what he’s doing, he’s downplaying covid after he “learned a lot” since getting it. I think he could help his chances of re-election if he came out of it and touted regeneron and pledged to make it available to all and while touting masks to keep America great during winter. He missed an opportunity to be a leader. But people have the idea that wearing a mask shows fear and weakness...that’s the problem and that’s why we’ll take 2x as long to beat this thing. I hope everyone enjoying the theater will also enjoy another year or two of this. You think you hated it after 6 months...

Teachers are dying and kids are getting sick.....even with quite a bit of built in precautions etc.....I guess 8 dead teachers is acceptable....luckily kids handle the virus well the teachers they give it too however......

You serious? If you think science is supposed to nail every outcome or prediction you’re grossly mistaken. Science tests hypothesis based on experiments and data. You seem to not understand that this is a novel virus that caused a once in 100 year pandemic. Science evolves. Things change. But doubting science is the wrong take.

Yet REAL world decisions that will impact the world for decades are being made every day based on this “science”. Lively hoods and businesses are being destroyed, depression and opioid abuse is increasing as is suicides.

What science are we gonna use? The science that in prisons and factories the asymptomatic rate may be 95%? That the iCFR for 12-60 year olds is 0.01% to 0.12%? That masks if they work as well as we are preached at, caused the largest self fulfilling prophecy in modern history and killed thousands which should have some health professionals tarred and feathered?

I’m trying to figure out which science is correct because I have never had less faith in modern medicine as I do today.

You have to be skeptical of everything until it has been proven and its' outcome is repeatable. Not all science falls into that category. Yeah, I have serious doubts about any science that has a political message behind it.

For many people it will have to take a relative or someone dying from this to make them take it seriously. That’s the thing, it shouldn’t be political but apparently if you’re for masks, it’s a political statement. If you want to prevent deaths to bide time for a vaccine, you want to ruin the economy because you’re a lib. It can’t be that you want the best for the United States, no, it’s because you’re unpatriotic. Everyone wants instant gratification....instead of coming together for a greater good, let’s prolong this thing as much as possible and ignore guidelines that mitigate, so we can have a slower return to normalcy. When it comes to covid, too many people want their cake and to eat it too. Its wild we’re still here 6 months later. Having the same discussions.

The president is back to the WH after 4 days since diagnosis, two O2 drops, and steroid treatment...after receiving a antibody cocktail that likely saved his life, and you have no faith in modern medicine?

Early on, research showed mostly ages 65+ were at greatest risk of death from covid.

Early on, probabMarch, we knew 80% of cases were asymptomatic.

So your first two questions I’m not really understanding. That’s nothing new.

This is about avoiding unnecessary death. It’s easy to not think of small percentages as people, but maybe you’d understand if a family member or someone close to you went downhill fast and died from covid. Someone younger and healthier than a grandma or grandpa. Maybe then it would make sense, because I’m not sure why it still isn’t clicking after 6 months. Lucky for us we still have all winter for the light bulb to turn on.

If he was in NY,the govenor could just ship him on down to one of the nursing homes, help boost that 200,000 metric
