Means nothing.
Update:
I saw my dad for the first time in 2 weeks tonight. He has lost a significant amount of weight. He also tells me that this is the sickest he has ever been in his 58 years. He told me one night last week he woke up at 3am and thought he was living his last moments here on earth. Extreme abdominal and body pain as well as difficulty breathing. Night and day from my case.
Praying for youUpdate:

Yes he is. He is still in noticeable discomfort though. He has really had a hard time.Is he feeling better?
Hopefully you didn't catch the bird flu!Sorry for lack of posts birdman is sick. Sore throat, body aches, small cough. May just be a cold idk. May get tested I was recently on a airplane and in an area much worse than NC.
Corona viruses are a common cause of the common cold. Just FYI.Sorry for lack of posts birdman is sick. Sore throat, body aches, small cough. May just be a cold idk. May get tested I was recently on a airplane and in an area much worse than NC.
A friend of mine in Texas called me today said his wife waited in line for two hours to get tested and decided to go back home but that was after she had filled out her paperwork and submitted it.. fast forward 48 Hours she gets a phone call saying she tested positive and she never had such tests.
I wonder if other coronaviruses, that cause the common cold, can give false positives for Sars-2...I've seen so many posts saying that....
Sorry but that sounds like something a chain mail or viral post would say and your friend latched onto it to use as their "story".A friend of mine in Texas called me today said his wife waited in line for two hours to get tested and decided to go back home but that was after she had filled out her paperwork and submitted it.. fast forward 48 Hours she gets a phone call saying she tested positive and she never had such tests.
Yea. I have seen that story quite a bit lately. Change a few details, different state or different relative, the story is the same. May have started as a real incident but it has been re-posted by different people...Sorry but that sounds like something a chain mail or viral post would say and your friend latched onto it to use as their "story".
Given it's literally the same story with slightly different wording, I call BS. Logically think about it for a moment too. What benefit is there to having an increase in number of cases alone? I can't think of any real reason. The more people go on about how they are covering it up the more conspiracy theories are produced.Yea. I have seen that story quite a bit lately. See that's the thing with these stories though. Unless you can verify their claim, there is no reason to jump on social media and spread it. That's how this crap goes viral and gets the gullible to believe it. I mean think about it, why would she wait two hours and then just decide to leave after going through all that and clearly felt a need she needed to get tested?I was just reporting what I was told on here I was not trying to cause a controversy.
I wasn't spreading anything I was just discussing it. And I actually believe that it did happen because there's no reason for my friend to lie to me about it. Do I know how it happened? No way and I don't even know the details again I was just discussing something on here. It could be a one-off but it doesn't matter because I was just generally discussing.See that's the thing with these stories though. Nothing wrong with discussing what was told to you and the idea of misdiagnosis/false positives/false negatives/ mishandling paperwork, etc isn't new and has happened many times over, not just COVID-19 related.I wasn't spreading anything I was just discussing it. In fact, I'll share this, although it will get down votes and "I'm gonna call BS" comments (it's why I haven't shared sooner). But have a neighbor/very good friend, that works in the medical field in my county, stated the ME's office has instructed that if a patient dies and also test positive for COVID-19, cause of death must be noted as COVID, regardless of what actual cause of death was. Idk, one off, one county with poor ethics in ME's office, a conspiracy, facts, fiction? Idk, but I trust our family friend and it's not something she has shared all over social media, just in conversation.Thank you.
Florida reports 8,948 new cases and a record high 120 deaths.
Yeah that's very interesting. Thank you for sharing that. The government has not been very good at anything at all in history other than Wars and Taxation. What makes us think they're going to be good at doing these tests properly? In fact, I'll share this, although it will get down votes and "I'm gonna call BS" comments (it's why I haven't shared sooner). Think about the shear volume of test being conducted and the pressure to get results back quickly, to think they are completely flawless is a stretch imhoYeah that's very interesting. I don't trust the science and data (shocked I know) but with the "debate" over mask/face coverings even within the CDC and all levels of medical field early on, seems odd to me to mandate it now 3-4 months later. But anyway, not sure I buy face coverings are that beneficial.... in my own experience with wearing one and what I've seen of other's wearing them, I venture to say most people wearing a mask actually touch their face at least 10x's more with a mask on. Adjusting it, scratching, pull it down because it's hot, or can't hear them talk, etc.... I'm just wondering if the hands to face is more of a concern then the face being covered? Sure seemed to be early on, just my humble opinion

18.4% positivity rate which means the testing dropped a bit. Not good.
120 deaths in FL is up from 49 yesterday. The previous record was 83 in the spring. That is disturbing to be sure.

I think the best argument in favor of proper mask usage is to look at literally every other major industrialized nation, especially the Asian ones. Europe's deaths have fallen dramatically as well once they started approaching it seriously as a society.I have little doubt it will help spread Covid in AL, at least if used like I’ve seen them used. Two clerks at grocery stores were constantly adjusting their masks, and while all the employees of a big hardware store was wearing masks, half of them were protecting their chin from Covid, another guy had his below his upper lip and a few more had their nose under covered, all with little social distancing. I can believe masks would help if used perfectly and if they are medical masks but I don’t see it happening.
