NC never truly locked down like NY did. Our order was toothless with far too many exemptions and little to no enforcement.

Good deal. As they reopen, they should see a surge, I would expect. Unless there's something else going on.
 
Someone who thinks reopening is the cause, can you help me understand stand these 2 examples?


1) California. 14K positive tests yesterday... And 78 thousand positive cases over the last 14 days (as of yesterday).

2) Canada. Canada has been opened up to a level on par with NC for weeks, and some areas are even farther along for almost 2 months. Hell, Quebec and Montreal reopened Elementary schools in May. British Columbia re opened gyms and such back in May as well. And yet their numbers continue to decline.

Cause it is not an election year in Canada? The virus only spreads where there is an a-hole to remove from office.

No, because Americans are too attached to certain ideas that when they're asked to temporarily give them up, they act like they're more important and don't use common sense just because a government official said it's a good idea. Also, America has more testing efforts, took longer to even acknowledge it was spreading quickly, and a lot aren't taking it seriously because they made it political. Bottom line is Americans are pretty selfish and ignorant in general and we try our hardest to shove an important health situation into a political setting to make people hate each other.
 
Another pre-print study showing HCQ and zinc dropping deaths and significantly reducing hospitalizations.

The demonization of HCQ by the media and some of the journals to spite Trump is bad enough and demands ridicule, but if this does end up proving beneficial it should be criminal.
 
Hong Kong is one of the densest populated areas in the world. Bars, Gyms,Resteraunts,nightclubs open. Rolling right along, and pretty much have nixed the corono.

Then let's do a Chinese level shutdown. Everyone gets 1 months pay from employers and we all get to stay home for one month. No travel except food or doctors.

I’m not willing for anyone to sacrifice freedoms at the request of the government health organizations. They lie, are populated with Marxist’s and hate American liberty. Not even a temporary surrender of liberty. Liars can’t be trusted. If you are afraid to catch a virus, it’s up to you to take the measures you think are best, not everyone else.

Big surprise here, don’t have to look very far even on this very thread in said forum to find people just like this that are contributing to this problem by spreading pure nonsense 24-7-365. It’s ironic that many of the same people (mostly MAGAs) not wanting to wear masks in public or complaining about it somehow infringing on their personal liberties are the same people that complained about BLM protestors supposedly not wearing masks.
