Yeah I take a probiotic at least 3 days a week. Not to sound hyperbolic but unless you've gone through moderately severe cdiff there is no understanding the physical and for me some of the mental side effects. I'm literally scared to take any antibiotic and fear a reoccurrence of cdiff with phobia like fear.
Move this please if it shouldn't be here. I don't know how to reply to something and put in another thread.

I sort of understand what your saying. I am scared to death of drinking water (I don't even drink my water anymore), bacteria on food, airborne bacteria, taking antibiotics, going in public, restaruants. Scared of everything. I could not describe to others how dang sick I was. Coudn't leave the house. I couldn't even go out to the barnyard and feed the chickens and chores. Lost weight and still can't get it back actually. I was sick for like 2 months and finally went to the Dr. Blood found, panic, tests and still not clear what I had but they gave me ANTIBIOTICS. Strong ones. I got worse. I don't even take medicine unless I'm dying. Which, I though I was. I almost wrote down all the passwords and directions for my husband. The crappy doctors ran all kinds of test for gut issues but never told me if they were neg or positive. Just kept getting the bills in the mail for lab. Then insurance dropped Dr. Disaster. I had to heal my ownself. I don't know if I had Cdiff but I think I had something else (Giardia I think). I did however take antibiotics for strep before I got so gut sick. I made cabbage juice, probis, sour kraut, teas, coconut water and milk etc. I was desperate to get better. Horrible and still scared about it. Not trying to say I understand yours completely but I can certainly relate. Horrible time. Hope you don't ever have that problem again.

We were approaching 30, it was expected to fall for a while. I just hate how the timing is so bad, because the narrative is becoming the economy, when in actuality, the narrative needs to be what everyone can do globally to detect and hopefully find a cure for the virus.

The way the world responds to this event can make or break how well the response will be for a much worse outbreak like Ebola. So far, it looks like we'd all be screwed in that scenario.

Never thought a 350 point loss would be looked at as win, interesting times
We had to tie a tourniquet on it somehow. It was getting to the point where 1,000 point daily drops was becoming normal. 2008 was bad. We need to avoid that as long as possible.

I would hope being less than ten days from a all time high we wouldn't approach a five year low

Er, that was my point: we're not even close to approaching the five-year low. The DJIA is still more than *9,000* points above that mark.

Severe ulcerative colitis flare up with a moderate to likely severe case of cdiff from October/novemebr 2018 - February/ March 2019. You aren’t alone and I understand the mental side affects quite well... failed two classes in college , lost 23 pounds in 5 weeks ( regained them all +10 more pounds in 6 weeks after recovery ) . Then doctor tried to prescribe some super heavy medicine that would require monthly hospital visits and put me at risk for cancer .... visited another doctor put me on balsalazide for the ulcers and by then the cdiff had resolved as well. A mild stomach ache scares me now.

Urgent care prescribed me an antibiotic for a sinus infection October 1, 2018. Long story short, back to back cdiff despite bottles of Clorox and careful practices. Missed a month of work and ended up in the ER. ugh.... absolutely horrible !! If it had come back a third time docs planned a "fecal microbioa transplant" ? I know. would have been 6 more weeks of missed work. Okay, sorry, back on topic.

What makes no sense is that gold (and other metals) are down ... usually there is an inverse correlation ... this is a global blow-back against the new China trade deal ... or something sinister ... nothing is working in sync ...

I've read that the CDC will only issue tests if the person is having SARs like symptoms but can't confirm. Either they are dropping the ball or are not worried about the effects of Covid but the panic.
Last I saw we have tested 500 people, meanwhile south Korea tested 10000 in a few hours.
