I understand the Coronavirus is suspected to be effected by heat. However in Florida where many places are already reaching 90 Degrees, has 7,000 cases.
Been feeling that way for awhile. They way they are set up as a society could lead to a rough few months.Anyone else have that sinking feeling like India is a powderkeg ready to blow

Great choice of a word there Larry! "possible" rather than "probable" ... let's hope a possibility evolves into a probability and then into a reality!None of this is really surprising to me. It will likely continue to rise sharply for at least another 10-14 days. Once we get to around 4/15 and beyond is when we could look for signs of a possible slowdown in new cases.
Heartbreaking. I know Modi said they would keep food going with their lockdown but that can't be feasible with their logistics.Rumor is it's in a slum of over 1 million people
It's supposed to decay. Not really supposed to disappear. That's where people aren't really understanding and truthfully I can't fully explain it.
Also I think much of Florida getting slammed is the fault that they didn't kick the spring breakers out early and then for a little while New Yorkers were fleeing to Florida. Would not surprise me at all if you could trace over half of the cases, if not more to the spring breaker/New Yorker "fleeing" problem. They are now tracking people at major checkpoints that want to drive into Florida (at least tracking a few state license plates), but that came entirely way too late.
The 2 deaths in my county were of residents who had just visited NYC a couple of weeks prior.
Nope everything and everyone going to be just fine.Anyone else have that sinking feeling like India is a powderkeg ready to blow
I had read there were 2 strains the Asian strain and the european strain. Sounds like west coast had the Asian and east coast the european. Wonder of the european strain is just slightly more deadly?
Probably a good idea ... except that many docs have suggested that the wrong kind of masking can actually increase the risk of contracting, so if that's a recommendation, hopefully there will be good directions on how to make and wear such a homemade device ... and I'll bet a beer to $5.00 that some yahoos decide to be wretched, cut out two eye holes and wear pillow cases in public ...REPORT: CDC expected to recommend face masks in wake of coronavirus pandemic

I have felt feverish 2 out of the last 5 nights, along with a soar throat, but I have woken up feeling fine. Never had allergy issues. My wife told me today that last night, she had the chills in the middle of the night and took her temp. Normal. She had no idea I felt the same way a couple of times. Neither of us have ever had allergy problems. Weird.I was not feeling well last night; sort of a sore throat and feeling really hot. Not going to lie, I was pretty scared going to bed. Took me hours to fall asleep, not knowing how I was going to feel in the morning. Luckily I woke up feeling normal, had to chalk up how I felt to allergies.
I have to be careful as I have some existing lung issues.

My wife and I had something similar a few days ago. Wife had a splitting headache, worst she’s ever had and had a sore throat and sniffles. I had some congestion and runny nose. Usually we don’t have allergy issues and our temp was fine, wonder if it could have been a very mild case of corona or just some allergies? Very odd.
I think at this point it's becoming a psychological thing. Completely understandable.
