Trust me I qualify just curious about how it works with dependents
I believe they have to be 17 and under to be eligible.

But we're also less dense.
So if they didnt they're out of luck, haha I got one happy and one not, we will share. Thanks for the info, kind of what I was thinkingThe $500 is for children who were under the age of 17 in calendar 2020. But if college age children filed their own tax returns (even if they're claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return), then they get their own $1,200 payment.

She didn't, bet she regrets not listening to her old man now when I kept saying, get a job you bum. To be fair she was a HS senior just did some babysitting and tonight told me "it's fine, I don't deserve a check". Love that kidLol, well if the unhappy one had any kind of earned income in calendar 2019, he/she still has time to file a tax return and qualify for the $1,200.
Neil Ferguson revised the UK figures to 50K based on them locking down. Would be interesting to see if he's revised any US counts based on the partial shutdown we've done here. (if he has, I can't find them yet)
Kemp says he reached out to Albany and asked them if they wanted him to help and they supposedly said they wanted to handle it locally? Yea ok
FL update (FWIW)

He said that expected increases in National Health Service capacity and ongoing restrictions to people’s movements make him “reasonably confident” the health service can cope when the predicted peak of the epidemic arrives in two or three weeks. UK deaths from the disease are now unlikely to exceed 20,000, he said, and could be much lower.

precisely ...The graph fits the doubling of every 3-4 days or so really 45 to 70, 70 to 150, 150 to 300, 300 to 520......once it steps up youdont see days with less cases than that day ( exception being 3/23)….factor in all the sick but not tested folks and we are still on the wrong side of the "peak" by quite a few weeks I suspect....
Too many studies out there. Heres a new one.

you don't wanna give it to a squirrel ...With this stay at home order am I not allowed to ride my bike 5 miles up a 2 lane road to a nice lil spot in the woods on my own? I live in wake county , the one rural part of the county but still wake county which has raleigh . So stay at home applies to me obviously .
it will after a few hospital reports ... based on 1st hand observations ... ?Stay at home really isn't affecting anything here. Seeing tons of people still walking around and enjoying the spring weather. Social distancing is definitely not happening.
I saw that too. That website came up as usually pretty accurate.Unless the New Scientist article was wrong he said this concerning the UK.
I live in a county with the second most reports in GA. People still out and about.it will after a few hospital reports ... based on 1st hand observations ... ?
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just don't call a lot of attention to yourself and give'em a reason to stop you. With this stay at home order am I not allowed to ride my bike 5 miles up a 2 lane road to a nice lil spot in the woods on my own? Sooo, I've been pretty clear how I feel about the "not a big deal" theory (I don't believe it and think the majority of evidence is hogwash, lol). But with that in mind, if someone wanted to argue for the US having lower CFR than expected and that more cases exist because of asymptomatic transmission, I would take a very hard look at Germany's data. ?️
That cryptic enough?
Same here. Nobody seems to be abiding by it but businesses. People are stubborn to the point it'll only drag this on further.Stay at home really isn't affecting anything here. Seeing tons of people still walking around and enjoying the spring weather. Social distancing is definitely not happening.
Exactly. This is why I'm kind of up in the air about them going ahead and just letting things get back to normal. They are putting out these stay at home orders and shutting things down, yet folks are still outside and not following the suggestions. If people won't listen regardless, then whats the point?Same here. Nobody seems to be abiding by it but businesses. People are stubborn to the point it'll only drag this on further.

It is still a very small number compared to the total population. Most people do not know of anyone that tested positive for the virus. We really must have more data. It is quite possible that a large percentage of the population has immunity already. We need antibody tests.I live in a county with the second most reports in GA. People still out and about.
Yea I'm not sure how to handle it to be honest. I just know a lot of people are not going to follow the suggestion regardless, so its not like the social distancing is actually going to work. When only 50% of people are actually practicing, then its a waste of time. Here is a thought to ponder on as well. So we go back to normal in a month or two, it’s still circulating and someone in your office/work comes down with covid. What happens? Will they have to stay home for 14 days? Does the whole office close? I think we are setting ourselves up for hard times. Kinda compare this to school systems now. We close schools for heavy rain. What gives? I’m kinda on the we are overreacting side of things. I’m not taking 10+ days vacation.
