Theres plenty of federally funded programs that can be slashed temporairly, some permanetly in my opinion to help offset to a degree.
His biggest obstacle to doing this will be his own party. Will have to have bi-partisan suport to garner enough votes. We all know in an election year that aint happening cause his opponent wants to see a crash n burn.

And this is sad. I'm not going to debate which side is right or wrong here, but you can see this all over the news, Social Media, and this forum. The fighting and bickering on both sides looking to score political points during an epidemic / Pandemic is pathetic. Like really, this is a national emergency and we need to be all hands on deck, and these jokers up in Washington or the news channels are just bickering along party lines, just for the ------- sake of bickering. And both sides are doing it. ANYONE who is choosing to bicker and squabble about politics during this situation should be ashamed of themselves. WE AS AMERICANS need to band together and tackle like we know we can. Save the politics and fighting for the AAR when you can take all the time in the world to get on your soap box and proclaim who was right / better.

/end rant.

Interestingly enough, my wife did point out to me that they have enough Chrome books for all students, so if they did go online it wouldn't be as difficult as I thought it might be. Not sure every system has that and frankly I was surprised our District here had that

Yea we have Chrome books here as well. Online school would be easy for Georgia. Heck they even have teaching jobs just for online classes here.

Speaking of taxes, today there's some good news from the IRS (definitely not words I'm used to saying):

"IRS said that health plans that otherwise qualify as HDHPs will not lose that status merely because they cover the cost of testing for or treatment of COVID-19 before plan deductibles have been met. The IRS also noted that, as in the past, any vaccination costs continue to count as preventive care and can be paid for by an HDHP"

IRS needs to disappear. I hate them!

Congressional doctor predicts 75-150 million U.S. coronavirus cases
was on natural news weeks ago, goes to show that ppl should look behind all doors and look for all facts, then make a reasonable assumption.
it's really laughable that ppl just assume some sources are always 100% wrong. Just like the ones saying this is nothing, ppl need to always hegde your bets.

Heard some reports that we are about 2 weeks away from full hospital at current rate, does anyone here work in that field ?

Amen for Google classroom and Chromebooks. They are such game-changers. My oldest already commented that if school was closed it would suck but all her work was on Google Classroom. The schools here start using it from 6th grade up now. I just don't know who will explain AP Math to her though!

Which AP Math? I may be able to help or provide resources, especially for AP Calculus. Just send me a dm.
