WHO has designated the Coronavirus as a pandemic.
They don't need internet at home, works off mobile data tooThe problem is not everyone has internet at home. This was part of the discussion the school boards are having.
Theres plenty of federally funded programs that can be slashed temporairly, some permanetly in my opinion to help offset to a degree.
His biggest obstacle to doing this will be his own party. Will have to have bi-partisan suport to garner enough votes. We all know in an election year that aint happening cause his opponent wants to see a crash n burn.
Interestingly enough, my wife did point out to me that they have enough Chrome books for all students, so if they did go online it wouldn't be as difficult as I thought it might be. Not sure every system has that and frankly I was surprised our District here had that
Speaking of taxes, today there's some good news from the IRS (definitely not words I'm used to saying):
"IRS said that health plans that otherwise qualify as HDHPs will not lose that status merely because they cover the cost of testing for or treatment of COVID-19 before plan deductibles have been met. The IRS also noted that, as in the past, any vaccination costs continue to count as preventive care and can be paid for by an HDHP"
IRS: High-deductible health plans can cover coronavirus costs | Internal Revenue Service
IR-2020-54, March 11, 2020 — The Internal Revenue Service today advised that high-deductible health plans (HDHPs) can pay for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)-related testing and treatment, without jeopardizing their status.www.irs.gov

BingoCongressional doctor predicts 75-150 million U.S. coronavirus cases
was on natural news weeks ago, goes to show that ppl should look behind all doors and look for all facts, then make a reasonable assumption.
it's really laughable that ppl just assume some sources are always 100% wrong. Just like the ones saying this is nothing, ppl need to always hegde your bets.
Yea we have Chrome books here as well. Online school would be easy for Georgia. Heck they even have teaching jobs just for online classes here.

Which AP Math? I may be able to help or provide resources, especially for AP Calculus. Just send me a dm.Amen for Google classroom and Chromebooks. They are such game-changers. My oldest already commented that if school was closed it would suck but all her work was on Google Classroom. The schools here start using it from 6th grade up now. I just don't know who will explain AP Math to her though!
Been hearing lots of inside sources telling me most schools are now about to announce all online school coming this Monday
