I think it's very possible winter is over by January 15 in parts of the south.
How many times you gonna be out? There's a limit and I think you've reached it

it is wild how the atmosphere just seems to favor the Western Deep South & Southern plains so much more as of late.

I say it every year. The further west you are in the south, it's just easier to get cold and snow.

Well, the Euro run sucked for most of NC. Cutter with the first system and too warm with the second. Guess we need to cheer for the GFS. USA! USA! USA!

Things went south fast today for snow chances. Happens quite frequently down in the southern U.S. It's just not the "normal" state of the atmosphere. Everything tries to pull back to the averages in time.

In all fairness, i only track weather in the winter. But it's important to realize that we are in the south and it's hard to snow

Yeah when I lived in Indiana, I didn't get excited about snow unless it was more than 6". In the south, you get excited about even flurries falling.
yeah its a reward.
The storm on the 6th seems to be lining up for a Va. special of some sort. mix/sleet/snow. Getting close to real skill range on that one. Let's see if GFS holds serve at 18z
