Misc Cold Season Complaining

Thank God this forum has admins that get it. Keeps me out of trouble (mostly).

As it was said earlier by someone It's unreal how boring the weather is in winter when we can't even get fantasy snow below 3000 feet or a thousand miles away on 16 day models and a hundred ensembles. Apologies to those who work on it and This is not a knock on those who try to figure out all the super long range stuff but man that stuff is just mind boggling boring too when it never seems to lead to a threat or work out. After going on 4 years of "pattern potential" on super long range ensembles leading to crap...its legit amazing people still find it very interesting. I get it..I know why folks look but I've never been a fan of it (mainly because I think any accuracy is nothing more than chance) but man this run of winter diarrhea makes it seem all the more fruitless.

OK rant over...ive been hopeful this never ending winterless streak will have to end soon but I'm starting to wonder myself and it's doing a number on me.

I use to say if you wanna see snow move to the mid-Atlantic, then later years I’d say move to the NE, now I say move to Valdez Alaska. If that doesn’t work, nothing will.

I find rain interesting. Add wind, or lightning and it's even more interesting. Add a sufficiently cold thermal profile and I can't even look away...
 
This winter sucks worst than last winter! La Nina’s are great up here, my ass
Nothing but 40s the next 2 weeks, no snow, seasonal total so far is 3”! This some BS

I can't speak for anyone but me, but I haven't had snow in almost 3 years! In those 3 years we've had cold weather and favorable patterns with nada! It's got to snow again and it will. But until we have a legit threat and get it inside 72 hrs I can see folks being concerned that it's just the same bs from the last 2 winters repeating.
