As fun as tracking a storm is there’s not a better feeling than a lost storm coming back. So many nights on amwx refreshing waiting for burgertimes pbp and seeing a BOOM would give me the deer shakes lol

We actually moved away from supporting tapa probably 2-3 years ago when they were making money off of us and not sharing then asking our members to pay for their premium service to post images on our site

I totally understand if folks want to use an app like tapa it makes life easy but they aren't the best business partners.
Our forum software used to support a stand alone app but they no longer do. If we ever really go big on a donation drive we might use that to go with a software that has an app but the cost delta between current software and the software id like to have isn't small

Site works great through Chrome on mobile, I ditched tapa back then when we got away from it. I really don't miss it
I like the option to follow thread with alerts on tap. So use to that.

i couldnt respond to this bc work got busy and tbh i'm slammed trying to put a nye party together tomorrow
me and the boys got a boneless prime rib we're going to carve but i'm really stressed out making sure my place looks ok
short version i saw some trends (i think the gefs) with high pressure being delayed with every run, as well as a more unfavorable orientation of the shortwave as it gets into the southwest. im still really concerned that stuff gets pinched off into baja. but i think i was a little too loose with "can kicking". i'm just really hesitant to keep saying the pattern looks great at hour 300. it always looks great at hour 300. we were always at war with eurasia
