The best part is that we know for sure Feb is tossed this year so we don’t have to worry about kicking the can past January.

Yes we who are older can enjoy our memories of winters when the ponds froze over and when it snowed and stayed on the ground for more than a week on some occasions. The Carolina Crusher, the March 1, 1980 snowstorm where the high stayed in the teens the entire day and the Feburary 1987 sleet storm are ones that I will remember. People who move here now look at you like you need to be commited to a lunatic assylum if you even mention the possibility of snow in Raleigh these days. If they only knew!

I know our new neighbors are from Ohio and they thought NC was a snowless state. I mentioned our 70’s and 80’s storms and they were very surprised.
It is an excellent movie. It probably belongs also in the romantic comedy category, but it is incredibly well done and worth the watch.
