You are not the only one. I’ve been burned too many times. Although this one feels different. Here I get the feeling some sort of high impact winter storm for me is just about assured. Just what type is the part to worry over.

This thread gonna be jumpin today if models start going towards suppression and no storm. You don't want to see that inside days 7. These models start actually having skill for this storm starting today. The last you want to see is everything going to what the 6Z GFS just did

It would suck to have great consistent runs all the way up to day 7 and then go off the rails. But that’s the life we live.

The GFS just introduced a new way to completely fail other than suppression. Although it pushes the timeframe back where there is no skill. Let's hope last nights CMC and UKIE were onto something. Instead of the suppressed Euro or the new GFS
 
These models have been steady and consistent for days on this threat. Is this just a blip or is this a change for the worst now that we are closer?
 
It sucks being to far north of this storm considering I’m still in the south dang I hope us folks in extreme northern Alabama don’t get shafted and have to snow chase south smh

It's the south. No one is "out of anything" or "in anything" as of yet. I surmise we'll have a much better grasp by Saturday and Sunday.

Yeah we were supposed to be out on Thursday too and we had the biggest snow day in 14 years 😂 all I heard Thursday was it was going to be somewhere else

I mean it may not happen again but the odds of the day 7 models being exactly right is probably about near zero too
 
All of your bosses called and need those reports that were due 2 weeks ago. The weather and lack of sleep is no excuse.

Bruh, I'm not dead yet! I'm just a paranoid weenie expecting the worst. Haven't even caught up with the overnight runs yet.

I kinda got caught in between late last night and paid for it lmao.

Thought about taking a 20 min cat nap and watching the GFS through the time of interest...well, I woke up with a scratchy throat a little over an hour later and wound up looking at that and comments on the CMC.

Really shouldn't have. It's better to get uninterrupted sleep.

Pretty Cool just checked NOAA..... Next Sunday eve when I go below Freezing they dont have me above it Monday or Tuesday

Monday - Low (19) / High (31)
Tuesday - Low (12) / High (27) ..... Literally couldnt ask for better times to be under a WSW lol
