Misc Cold Season Complaining

Can't speak for others but I am a doubting Thomas on this one. I just think the models are doing what they do. They show major cold all the time and its always way over modeled. We saw it again earlier this month and even saw it multiple times the past two years without any true cold at all. I'm sure it will be below average but come go time it will be like all the others; trying to hope against marginal cold and warmnoses, and most who get anything will be hoping ice doesn't cause problems. The snow and ice maps the models show are aptly named; clown maps. Those big amounts NEVER come close to verifying. Yes they're fun to fantasize about but that's as far as it goes. Got a lottery ticket I suppose; below average temps likely with a possible system, but this one won't be any different than about 95% of our other threats.

Hopefully it does not go back below 20 anytime soon. Anything lower than that is basically useless.
 
Guys…. This may be a positive Omen…. I have been in. Rut in Jan…. The rut is over, hit not one but 2 +3000 Parlays tonight on NBA. So maybe I can transfer some of that into a Triple phased Baja Bomb

Is anyone else concerned about this becoming a west of apps winter storm with freezing rain for CAD areas with any snow/sleet being north/west of us? Seeing models already amplifying the wave is making me a bit uneasy seeing that storm systems trend to trend west as we get closer.
 
You can tell yall don’t track many winter storms! The CMC sucks balls.
As a seasoned vet of watching winter storms and models, it should go the way of the DGEX
