Misc Cold Season Complaining

Trying to decide if ATL is going to get a 30 minute burst of snow to start or just start as IP and stay there the whole time

Is this where I complain that Tuscaloosa is left out of the WWW while also buying into every clown map posted on the main thread showing a prayer for Ttown? I've been burned crispy so many times yet here I am again...
Yes, this is the place, this is the place!

How did @RoddyPiper go from saying where’s the cold / no cold / how are we going to have enough cold air…to…defending this winter storm like I defend going to the pizza parlor as the best lunch option?

True story: the real Roddy Piper for a time lived in a neighborhood like 10 minutes from me in Charlotte back in the 80’s

There’s no way it went from 30 to 34 in 5 minutes lol.

Its the same way they got all of those mid 90 readings in the summer. When your station says 90 for 52 readings straight, then there is a random 94 in there in a five minute increment, that is bogus.

Somebody needs to do something about it, but do they even care ?

I think him and Arn Anderson lived in the same neighborhood. Blackjack Windham as well. Also, when I was a kid, I was always told Flair lived at that boujee lakefront neighborhood just on the other side of the buster boyd. Whenever we’d go to Park Road Shopping Center or South Park or anywhere with a pay phone, I’d always try to find his number.

Long time since I posted, probably back in 2022 with the last storm. Still looks a little bleak but hopefully we can get some positive trends for everyone board wide the rest of the day. Nice seeing the play by play and analysis from the long time posters here. I missed you guys.

It's a shame how many upstate people are smashed at the bottom of the cliff and won't get to experience this storm.
Just to your north east. We have been around long enough to know that its not gametime till the system moves out. Anything is possible.

Haven't posted on here in a while, looked at the main thread and wondered where all the RDU people went. Of course we all are here in the complain thread as we prepare for yet another bust.

I realize this is antecdotal, but with respect to pre-storm air mass and ground temps, it's 11:30am and I still have frost on the ground in shady areas. I probably could have done some sledding this morning the frost was so heavy.😂. 15 or 20 miles north of Augusta.

This morning's frost is probably the most winter weather I'll be seeing for 2025.

Found this here a few years ago. Now I feel old but ahhh the memories

Ik myself and some others got 1/2 -1” of Snow back before Christmas. That being said , Perspective is everything, as crappy as last 3yrs has been if someone told us we’d have maps with 2-4” on them I’m pretty sure we’d all be elated. 2-4” would be a good kickoff to winter even though I still don’t wanna waste a pattern like this on that

Oh joy...we get to watch Alabama to Atlanta get another historic winter storm.
yeah, February 2021 was historic...that tenth of an inch covered my mailbox. I have to go to Colorado in June to get snow. And Tuscaloosa county is out of the winter advisory. We can't buy a snowflake. I had a cover of sleet Jan. last year that showed up on some leaves so I could get a picture.
