The SE ridge is strong on that 12Z GFS run. Get ready for a December full of 60's at night and 70's during the day with lots of humidity!

It’s on our DNA. But I’m evolving, I think I’m going warminista this year. I know it’s not going to be cold, so I’m rooting to at least be warm and sunny. But probably won’t be sunny though. Tank the winter 24-25!!

It is perfect outside today! 70 degrees, mostly sunny and a RH of 53%. I'm stuck behind a desk but I've got the windows open!

18Z GFS looks....well....just awful if you want cold weather around Thanksgiving. Looks awesome if you want 75 and sunny!

I recommend taking the "high" number every time. You will almost always be right.

The paper patterns are great! It’s when they fall apart and the trough digs west is what I can’t handle anymore. Not buying it at all. With the pacific ridge that far west, it just looks like the trough will want to dig west too. We’ll see.
Odds look like we may not torch starting December so that’s great, but extremely side eyeing a good pattern for cold.

Usually, the Euro starts doing it's trough bias around D7-D8 so probably gonna start seeing the whamby thread more active. Wonder if the Euro AI does the trough bias too.
The Steelers at Browns game is awesome with the snow coming down.

I think I'll always have two residences in both locations. I have family in Boone, but also family here as well. But, as soon as the last kid is out of the house, me and the wife will be spending a lot more time up there. If it's going to snow, I'm up there. It seems like if you want to see snow these days, you'll need to go up in elevation. Land/lots away from Boone are still reasonable. Go into Ashe or Allegany County.

It's all we can hope for at this range! Been a long time since we've had those players execute and take us all the way to the endzone, but with looks like we're getting now eventually it's going to happen.

If I see snow this season I’ll be happy! Just off of past experience, early season cold never amounts to anything for most! I could eat crow and I would be fine with that! I’m just saying that December isn’t a snowy month for most of NC!
