Took a charter out down in Clarks Hill today and filled the cooler in 2 hours. 2 coolers like this. Mostly 10-20lbs but a couple 30-40 pounders. We got freezer meat.

Whats new? Some of us have given up on cold and snow. I'm sure it'll snow again at some point. But who knows when? Feels like we're way more likely to get a 3rd snowless year in a row than actually get snow this year.

We are living in an era of pattern persistence, specifically warm patterns during the winter months. By the time blocking arrives, it is well into spring. I have a snowblower up here in the suburbs of Chicago, which I am strongly considering getting rid of.

I remember getting snow the first week of November when I was at App. My dorm was on a hill that was great for sledding, too.
2014 on Halloween? I visited from state and had a great time, at least according to the portions i can remember

Nearly a month without any rain, and we still are not "abnormally dry" according to the latest Drought Monitor. Perhaps that's because it's October and not July ? I can't imagine going a month without rain in July and not being abnormally dry.
