I enjoy their videos. Much better than their tweets in my opinion. Different target audience I’m guessing.I used to not like BAMwx but their recent tweet storm to people has really changed my opinion

Relative to the rest of the world at our latitude we are impressively cold. No where else will you find places at Raleigh’s latitude and altitude with winter averages this cold and especially record lows this low, courtesy of being on the east side of a continent that stretches to the poleI mean it's all relative. I have no interest in 40 below or upper midwest type cold for months on end. But a once in awhile, legitimate cold night or two and couple days below freezing isn't some crazy concept. Much of the country would laugh at that kind of cold anyway. We all have our things. Some people wish for heat and I can't imagine wanting more of that.

Jinan, China which is in Southeast Asia has a similar latitude as Raleigh and their average January temps are 40/24 !Relative to the rest of the world at our latitude we are impressively cold. * incoming dewwy Dan response
Yeah but their record low is only -3.5… in the eastern us anywhere that averages a high of 41 would have a higher diurnal and record low of like -20-25Jinan, China which is in Southeast Asia has a similar latitude as Raleigh and their average January temps are 40/24 !
Not really. More like South Boston Va.Jinan, China which is in Southeast Asia has a similar latitude as Raleigh and their average January temps are 40/24 !
I said a similar latitude. Not exactly the same. Also, Jinan is only like 75 feet in elevation. Not really. More like South Boston Va.

I just appreciate them pushing back some. I know it's not the most professional thing but the fact that people can't put out a forecast anymore without someone criticizing it before the forecast period starts is tired.Read this, gave up.

True story, I recently participated in interviews for someone who worked there. I don't work with them.
My shop doesn’t allow us to correct people even when it’s really egregious. We pleaded to go after Brad Panovich for impersonating our forecast and instead our PIO sent out a weak email professing our love and adoration for him and all media “partners”. Certainly didn’t and doesn’t represent my views.I just appreciate them pushing back some. We rideSome of these footprints. If we got member 16 I'd just delete my account and if the board closed that's fine we'd never match that as a region again

Fail boat sets sail!
At this range Ensembles is really all that mattersIt would be fantastic if we could start seeing some coastal lows firing in the fantasy range that drop like a ridiculous amount of snow on the Carolinas at some point. Seems like every run looks great as it digs into the mid & deep South then goes to crap once it crosses over the mountains.
The ensembles continue to look great though!
I get that. Cliché thing to say, I get it. Just saying though. At this range Ensembles is really all that matters
