I think that’s where we are heading and I’m all for it because I’m heading there with it lol.
 
It's crazy that Dallas are lucking themselves into getting a 2nd big snow event in 4 years, while Atlanta hasn't had a winter storm criteria event since January 2018.This recent trends on the models brings me right back to Feb 2021 where the pattern looked amazing for snow, only to degrade significantly as we get closer. It's rough being a snow lover east of Mountains.
 
Serious question here, what do models always see that makes them see winter weather 20 days out? It’s amazing how it happens so often. Someone enlighten me please.
 
I genuinely think anywhere east of the apps south of VA is pretty much northern florida tier when it comes to snowfall now, not even joking. I don't know what happened in the climate to change it to this but it's insane that El Paso is looking at more snow than most of NC has seen in the past like seven years combined. I'm not even gonna pretend to be happy for those guys, it's legitimately depressing.

It just makes me wanna move more at this point lol.

Duh! I can’t stay away from this. Already had those plans anyway. Buddy who asked me to come along, it was like he already knew he needed to intervene with a distraction.

Or maybe he just wants to have a good old time mocking me. My target skills are about as good as the wx models.
 
This has to be a joke or for clicks. Anyone paying attention knows this is trending towards a cold rain.

Ooof she’s slipping away fast. Somebody better stop the bleeding or this one is a goner.

Hopefully it will be a quick death and the models don’t toy with us giving false hope…

Skies have gotten to heal. We need Boston blizzard to shake things up. A lot is wrong and missing. There’s still time. And things are being worked on. But if I get banned again you can kiss any winter storm for Raleigh good bye

Honestly doubt that happens but an "average annual snowfall" will just be a spreadsheet number on local climate table. We will continue to get events but the delta intervals are spreading out to multi-season as opposed to seasonal

we need a real time chat box. Be easier on servers for things to delete. Like we don’t need snow maps that never panned out anyways. Keep threads for real storm threats

RDU averaged a 10" winter about once every three years before 2004, but hasn't had one since. This measurable snow drought is already the second longest on record for the area.
