I would give anything to have had this board back in Jan 2000 when we got the crusher. I wonder if we would have done better forecasting this than the NWS. The GSP office had to play catch up all day. Of course, I would not have found out for a few days how it went until my power came back.

Earliest storm I can remember on the boards was January 2002 followed by December 2002 and then January 2003. I don’t know if he’s still around but ACweather called 1/23/03.

Just a reminder for folks to even if we disagree time to time, not to hold grudges as it’s easy to do that. If we disagree we should just keep it at that and still interact nicely to each other. At the end of the day we all have 1 goal on here

All this talk boils down to there is a slim chance of 1 inch or less of snow. It’s just not worth the arguments. Now I will raise all kinds of hell over a chance of a foot though.
