Yes. Hopefully it's an outlier, but the trends have been moving this way...so it's probably not.

People aren't really talking about it on the main storm thread, but it's astonishing how much the 'favorable' wintry pattern has completely collapsed on models over the past few days. We went from a true near-historic arctic outbreak to potentially looking at another rainy event. We were once looking at a legit siberian express pattern and now we're hoping for a marginal snowstorm at best that warms up quickly after.

We're still at more risk of no storm than a rain storm, imo. The GFS is a good sign.

I'm sure it's not going to snow in mby. But it's not because the 180 hr GFS op told me it wasn't. Plenty of ways to fail and that's probably not it.
Perfect time to blend camps.

It actually used to snow in south Alabama, remarkable when you think about it, my future kids will think I’m crazy when I tell them.
That will shift north and it will rain very hard on your house.
