How many days do we have in winter that are sub 50 anymore lol but anyway this is the April thread so I'll stopThat’s probably an over exaggeration lol, but yeah it wouldn’t feel good . I’d take a cool rainy day but not 50s, maybe low 60s.

Hopefully we can start getting some widespread rain events. It's drying in the top later deeper down though it's pretty waterlogged
Yeah I can't remember the last dry April. I'm kind of surprised the pattern for the next 2 weeks isn't wetter on the models honestlyApril is our driest month but I don't remember the last time it was this dry. Hopefully, this isn't a sign of things to come. I don't think we'll drought this year. But better dry in April than July when evaporation is through the roof.
Yeah, 50s arent known to exactly be turn-on weather for that sweet sweet moisture return.Yeah I can't remember the last dry April. I'm kind of surprised the pattern for the next 2 weeks isn't wetter on the models honestly
It's not that confusing. Highs in the 50s are awesome! ?I mean I'm all for holding off 90s but good grief this idea that highs in the 50s are great in April is confusing.
All temps are favorable for moisture return as long as it's above freezingYeah, 50s arent known to exactly be turn-on weather for that sweet sweet moisture return.![]()
You think 70s is hot? This look like some darn great weatherOh noes too hot! View attachment 82004
I hate that we’re starting to need rain after the winter we just had .. I swear it didn’t stop raining lolHopefully we can start getting some widespread rain events. It's drying in the top later deeper down though it's pretty waterlogged
I know right ill never understand complaining that the humidity is low and the temperature is cool but even warm if ur in the sun ... ??It's not that confusing. Highs in the 50s are awesome! ?
Also at the end of euro run is setting up a nasty severe event for parts midsouth and Dixie... if moisture return is under doneLooks like the end of the euro trying to pump up those Dewpoint’s and bring that tropical moisture up
Temps in the low 70s with 30 dew points ... doesn’t get more comfortable than that
Some of the tall fescue in SE Charlotte is burnt to a crisp. Concerning to see the dryness starting in the Southern Piedmont with summer approaching. View attachment 82012

That’s odd, because I’ve been out on the motorcycle all afternoon through Union and east Mecklenburg counties and I was noticing how nice and green everything is. I know it’s been dry but I think we’re still at least a few weeks away from problems if we don’t get any rain. It does look like we might have a good soaker in a few days
Except 60s with dews in the 20s! ? modernweenieTemps in the low 70s with 30 dew points ... doesn’t get more comfortable than that
72/40 t/dExcept 60s with dews in the 20s! ? modernweenie
Go for itWe need a severe threat thread for the weekend. The Euro is absolutely nasty.
Hail.... mPING report of pea size hail with cell that moved through southern Granville. About to cross from Franklin Co. to Warren, still looks like it has a hail core on radarscope
