Was out golfing today and saw a rotating wall cloud off in the distance on the number 1 tee box. Pretty awesome stuff

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 55. Southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Seems like we are going to bust way high tonight on QPF. Showers seem topical and everything seems to be heavier than what radar is presenting. It had gotten a little dry so we needed some good rain, but hoping things don't get out of hand.

Noticed a weird orange glow outside. Treated to a gorgeous sunset. Ridge of the mountains looked like it was on fire. Wish my view was cleaner.

40s for highs with rain is depressing lol I’d rather be outside enjoying 70s
We are probably doomed to a cold rain or 2 later in the month but still 0 30s on the EPS and that is awesome

Nasty. Looks like January temperatures.
sunset I got last night chasing around the Saluda, SC area.
EPS means of about 70/46 here everyday after next Tuesday, some members show close to 90s towards the end of the run, don’t know that given the final strat warming event
EPS really shows the retrogression from a +PNA to -EPO to a -WPO, chance at a SER there or dumping more stuff out in the pacific and kickstarting another western ridge
Really close to putting severe weather into overdrive post D10 possibly before if we can get enough moisture return
