Welp, I think we can pretty much say that we should be able to enter Fall without any sort of drought. We have had so much rainfall over the last 2 weeks. I know October is generally one of our driest months, but with the upcoming forecast looks more promising for more rainfall. I have never seen the grass/tree's this green in a long time. And with how active the tropics are expected to get, I can imagine that at some point someone on this board is going to get hit with a tropical system at some point.
Still only 72°. I don't really need to mow, but I am anyways.
U just jinxed it. #septemberfromhellWelp, I think we can pretty much say that we should be able to enter Fall without any sort of drought. We have had so much rainfall over the last 2 weeks. Watch those storms later tomorrow afternoonSo tomorrow is looking dry and if it doesn't rain that breaks my streak at 12 days in a row with some rain.

Death Valley made a run toward a record high today. View attachment 46546
Imagine how miserable it would be to be camping there and trying to go to sleep but its still 105 with a low of 96 ?
Que GaWx. Sounds like LaNina is inbound for the winter. Are we looking at weak, mod, strong?
Gorgeous day today. Hardly ever get to say that in August. Hard to beleive august is half over. Only 2 more weeks till Met Fall begins.
8.16.2020, max temp 78.1F, book it.
Yep, that's what I like to see. The first signs of fall usually start in SW Canada by late August. Then that cool air continues to build and then work southeastward over time.0Z GFS an 6Z GFS had snow in the Canadian Rockies at the end of the run. Encouraging signs! Days are getting shorter...Fall is on the way.
