Pattern Ablazing August

Maybe in Indiana. There's a lot of years low temperatures don't drop below 60 till mid October here.
In all my years in Georgia I've never seen a September where it didnt drop below 60. I guess GA is a colder climate than NC.

Anyone else having problems with yellow jackets? Killed two huge nests a few weeks ago after bushhogging over them and getting lit up and killed another one a hour ago. They must really like this rainy summer.

I mean i knew the SER was coming back in time for winter, but did he have to come back in August? These next 10+ days about to suck.
Don't worry. Kirk Mellish in Atlanta says the next 4 weeks will be average to below average. Any heat will be short lived. The heat lovers must be devastated.

That's fantastic because Atlanta is precisely representative of all cities in the SE, which could cover Kentucky to Tx and all points east but we're not completely sure, and since the dog days are over AND some of us are north of Atlanta then surely those temps must be jacket weather. Don't worry @smast16 DD has spoken no heat

This event flew under the radar but they had 17"+ in hrs in a training line of storms in Tenn and the flash flooding has killed at least 21 with dozens still missing, this footage is horrific....

This evolution was what I feared for most of the summer. Friday- Monday have decent potential for another run of 95+ days
And I've only had 2.35 total for month of August, if I miss out over the next couple of days that kind of heat will exploit those numbers quickly
