Gfs says we are going to need a bigger boat
I'm horrible at researching past weather events, but seems there was an event in August back in the early to mid 90s that produced very heavy rains over several days (IIRC stalled out front in the region). I remember it b/c my mom was in Fl with my sister who was having her 2nd child (my nephew), a Marine helicopter had to make an emergency landing in a field behind our house and we provided assistance to the pilots and like 2 days later after the helicopter was repaired and they had left, the rains came actually flooding the fields where they landed. Never seen that much water standing in those locations in my life
