Severe 3/3-6 2025 Severe

Wind is ripping in tops of trees, as already noted probably dodged another bullet here. Although that line still has to pass and I'm sure there will be some intense gust with it. Slightest breaks in clouds and destabilization would've set off this powder keg

They just launched another one I happened to be near my lab which is where they launch it and they let me watch , cool! Didn’t expect that today , sadly I think this one was not successful, the launch was but they weren’t getting all the data they wanted

Thunderstorm currently in Goose Creek. Peak gust 51mph... unexpectedly have had several rounds of heavy discrete rains. Fortunately, instability remained weak, otherwise this would have been a robust outbreak regionally.

It has been consistently windy though since 5am..so these cells have been effective wind makers (though subsevere) with meager cape
