GFS has a tropical storm into the Panhandle just fwiw. The icon yes kills it

Clearly shear will be an issue in the Gulf(water temps ain't gonna matter...) it's just how strong does it get before that

This is gonna be a sad situation, and probably historical, if this thing builds and gets its act together on approach.
