I was satisfied with 2018-2019 because I got a foot the first week of December. I got nothing the rest of the winter and was fine with it.

Man if this pattern unfolds like the GFS is showing or something similar I know it will change. It will be a once in a generation event for a lot on here imo.

It's likely going to be. The gfs may be doing gfs things here. I'll gladly be wrong but I'd pump the brakes. I think the better shot may end up being Christmas day or the following 2 days

Still sucks but when ensembles agree and ensembles from other models agree on the same general overall pattern .. maybe it is on to something .. or maybe not .. either way we will see a different solution in 6 hours

The waiting is always the hardest part. One week might as well be 10 years away.
With this blocky pattern it was only a matter of time before we got a weenie run and it's only a matter of time before most of us score a winter storm. I don't anticipate it will be a GFS type of score but anything is possible. Lots to work out between now and then, models will fluctuate and I doubt this will be the last weenie run. Gonna be a fun long week ahead
