My theory in this 12z GFs run, the storm that came through last night had to move out first.

I agree. This table setter notion is not unfounded but the old dishes were still there and needed to be cleared off.

GFS has me at 3 degrees after being below freezing for 108 hours. This is so ridiculous you know it has to be wrong.

Assuming this system pans out, I hope Eric was right yesterday about the LP not running inland or tracking too close to the coast or the warm nose is going to ruin it for my area (East Central NC) yet again. It's already too close for comfort on that GFS run.
