Nah, need that low down in central gulf of mexico, about 500 miles south of Mexico Beach.Have the L just south of Mexico Beach and we all party.
That'll make a fine, hard-packed snowball, though.Slopped all night, this was all in an hour or less after finally changing to snow! Probably last chance of the winter! ?View attachment 125244
Even worse here. It will just be a cool rain at my house. Need over running or weak Miller A. Nothing else works.Miller B's suck for MBY

He isn’t wrong. Takes a lot of breaks to make it here in the SE. Midwest is a safe bet for now.Lol. Here it is, the much hyped pattern and RC calmly, succinctly, not sure if serious, is meh. Lol.
Buyer beware.
RC is right. I mean the cold press isn't impressive, the trough is transient and the next round of energy is following too far from the main cold air advection. He isn’t wrong. Takes a lot of breaks to make it here in the SE. Midwest is a safe bet for now.
You know it will happen.Gonna love when models trend colder but then stop at 35-33 degrees
It'll get just cold enough to make it miserable to be outside but give you no pretty ice to look at.Gonna love when models trend colder but then stop at 35-33 degrees

It’s surprising that N GA doesn’t do better with Miller Bs considering that the SC Upstate and NC southern mountains, foothills and southern Piedmont around the Charlotte metroEven worse here. It will just be a cool rain at my house. Need over running or weak Miller A. Nothing else works.

Same for Nw Sc..we used to always get a Cad ice or sleet event every winter. Typically in January, the sole reason I installed a Generac. But the last decade+ its been pretty mehI think we used to quite a bit before the last 15 years. The 2 or 3 increase in average temps has really decreased the amount of ice storms west and south of Gainesville, GA.
Reel this thing in Webb...ready for ice maps!12z GFS thus far looks even better than the 6z
Unless someone shoots up your substation...But at least the power stays on !
