Well, I did grow up in Durham.

Rap wasn't like that in the 80s when it first came out. Yeah, NWA and guys like Dr Dre came out with gangster rap, but the majority of rap wasn't like that. The majority of country music is all about the lifestyle of country music, especially since 2010.

"Country" music today is not Country. Nor is it the country lifestyle. Hanging on a boat with a Yeti full of Nati's, putting a Skoal ring in your skinny jeans at the bonefire is not the lifestyle, or eating a steak at the applebees does not equal living the lifestyle. These pop music artist invaded and ruined country.
